Hosted by The COMISS Network: The Network on Ministry in Specialized Settings, Pastoral Care Week is observed annually by chaplains, pastoral care counselors, educators and providers as a time to celebrate and express appreciation to institutions and staff that support pastoral care ministries.

This year’s Pastoral Care theme, “Cultivating Inclusion,” aimed at acknowledging the people of many faiths who are served by pastoral care men and women every year.

In observance of this week, SJOGCS devoted one day of Pastoral Care Week to each program. Those days are as follows:

· Monday - Fresh rolls for coworkers

· Tuesday: Pizza party for volunteers

· Wednesday: Snacks for ALPS/VR

· Thursday: Healthy snacks for ADS

· Friday: Healthy snacks for HWG

SJOGCS would like to thank all of those on campus who dedicate themselves to creating a culture of hospitality and compassion throughout our services.
