Despite two blizzards, which befell SJOGCS within the same week, this year’s Scholastic Book Fair proved to be a success, with sales totaling over $2125. While the weather and subsequent school closings did affect sales, ADS will still benefit as 40 percent of all sales will go directly to materials for the library. >In addition, each ADS student was able to select a free book during the fair thanks to the generous contributions of Sally and Walt Edwards. Sally and Walt are the grandparents of Andrew and Makayla Babco. Andrew Babco was a former student at Archbishop Damiano School, who passed away while enrolled at the school more than 6 years ago. St. John of God Community Services would like to thank everyone who came out to support the Scholastic Book Fair, as well as Sally and Walt for their generous donation.
