Spring is blooming

In the midst of the cold and rain, it is nice to catch a glimpse of spring. Thanks to the excellent care they receive from our students and staff, orchids are in bloom in the science room.

We are also proud to announce our newest science room guest is a little brown anole lizard. To learn more about the brown anole go to:

This little guy has had some exciting adventures in his young life.  He was a stowaway in a delivery truck that traveled from Florida to the Mantua Lowe’s during the coldest week of winter. Employees found him in the shipment of garden center plants, captured him and put him in a cup for safe keeping. Thanks to the kindness of nurse Sarah's daughter he found a new home in our science room.
